And what if I started by asking you a slightly strange question:
What seems, at first glance, to be as far away as possible
from the history of forced labour during the Second World War?
A dream.
What we dream at night, in our beds.
Without witnesses.
Without any obvious logic.
Universes that seem light-years apart – don’t they?
And yet, Livia’s artwork Graffiti shows us exactly the opposite:
the power of an artistic approach capable of building bridges
between what we experience intimately
and what History transmits to us collectively.
